I went for dinner with a bunch of friends, the Garlic Bread was nicely toasted and tasted great. The Lasagna was made fresh and tasted delicious. The Sweet Tea was refreshing too.
Update: I went again for Lunch with Friends and the Cheese Garlic Toast was absolutely amazing and tasted great. I ordered the Medium Super Deluxe Pizza which included the addition of Canadian Bacon. The Chocolate Cheesecake is great for those with a sweet tooth. They also have Key Lime Pie.
The pizza was burned on top, and the crust was hard! Definitely not what o would consider good pizza! The owner did say that he was training new people, but still not a good experience! The people I went with swore that the place was better than that usually so I’ll probably give it another shot! Everyone has a bad day every once in a while, and the same goes for restaurants I guess!
First time here!!! A.m.a.z.i.n.g. We ordered carry out. Everything was delicious and fresh tasting. Igot the same amount of food when though it wad carry out. It didn't make it hard to believe this year is their 50th Anniversary. Do not miss out on this gem! Staff are super sweet and helpful. Try the homemade garlic dressing it doesn't disappoint, but only if you like garlic.
We got a specialty created pizza, lasagna, and spaghetti with meatballs.
Small Mom and Pop restaurant. Not fancy, which I love. Pizza is good. Salad is very simple but, very good. I love the Mesquite radio station they play. Every time I step in there, I feel like a kid again.
My family and I are currently on a cross country road trip and we found ourselves passing through Dallas about lunch time and promised the kiddos pizza. I scoured google to find a place that would check all the boxes. A delicious local gem with ample parking for our truck and camper trailer and the thing all road weary parents need… Beer. Pizza Getti doesn’t serve alcohol but is BYOB, per the website. Color me intrigued. I call in to place a order and Kyle answers and is very friendly and helpful. He even checked to see if I was calling the right location as the caller ID showed my out of state area code. Upon arrival, we are greeted with smiles by staff and regulars alike. This is a local haunt for sure and packed with regular customers. Kyle happens to be cutting our pizzas as we walk in and somehow knew the order was for us. He’s unfazed when we ask if we can eat our takeout pizza in the dining room and Nicole, the super sweet server, seats us quickly. She and Kyle offered us plates but we insisted on eating our pizza out of the boxes like the heathens we are. Nicole checked on us several times and was an absolute doll. Kyle, who turned out to be the owner, checked on us as well as Jamie, one of the cooks. The pizzas were delicious and the service and hospitality was unmatched, but I wouldn’t expect anything less of an establishment that’s been around for 50 plus years. We left with full tummies and hearts, feeling like part of the family.
Best pizza in East Dallas! Family owned and operated. Exactly what you want in a local restaurant. Good pizza. Good prices. Nice warm environment.
Second time being here. You don't want to miss this gem. This place service is amazing. First time I order medium half pepperoni and sausage was amazing. The second time around pepperoni, a one time salad trip now that salad was amazing it fresh cold and old time school very basic but worth it simple and best part it's fresh and cold like you just made from home. Now the to the pizza very fresh and hot thin crust my favorite. Recommend. Don't past up this place I am sure the pasta plate are amazing too.
I’ve only came here a couple of times but every time it’s worth it. I live closer to the one in Rockwall but it’s worth coming to the Dallas one. There’s been maybe two times that they forgot something but they always correct it and make up for it. Food is made fresh and it’s delicious. We have always gotten the cheesy garlic toast and jalapeño pepperoni pizza and they never disappoint
